Usually, disk 0 is hard disk, and disk 1 is the usb dirve where wins 7 install.

Anyways once you get into the BIOS you need to Disable Secure Boot and then also enable Legacy Support. After you are able to get into the BIOS or for Windows 8 it is UEFI. It may be something different for your brand of computer. IN the computers I have used it has been F2. My directions will be four loading with a DVD.įirst thing you have to do is disable secure boot. If you do not have pro you will have to buy a Windows 7 license. You still most likely will have to follow these steps but you can use the license you have for Windows 8 you may just have to call Microsoft to have it activated. If it is Pro you will be fine, the pro editions have downgrade rights.

Then the other big thing is what version of Windows 8 do you have. Verify it before you go through the trouble. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT it would suck to have a PC that items don’t work on because of that. For Turns out this model I was working with did have Windows 7 drivers in the 64 bit version but not in the 32 bit. Before you downgrade your Windows 8 PC to Windows 7 You must check with your computers manufactures to make sure all the drivers for your PC will work with Windows 7.
